Shop and Reserve is designed to make shopping at Yate a more enjoyable experience.

The Shop and Reserve (SAR) function is the first of its kind and is, in effect, an online product catalogue listing products and services available from shops directly located within Yate Shopping Centre. Ultimately you should be able to find any retailer or business located in the shopping centre quickly and easily but our new system goes further. Subject to participating retailers, you will be able to find and compare goods actually available in-store - then reserve them whilst you travel into town to pay and collect them. Think... no more wasted journeys, no more hanging on the phone - just log on, find what you need and click 'reserve'. Each participating retailer will instantly be notified of your reservation and will hold the goods you want - for a limilted time - ready for you to collect.

The beauty is you're buying from local retailers which actual shops and staff, not some virtual on-line shopping cart  - so you know you'll have service close to hand when you need it.

How to use SAR.

1. Click into Shop and Reserve on the main menu. This will take you to the main catalogue page where the latest products listed are displayed.

2. You can choose to search for products by Category or by Company. For instance, you may want a new outfit so click 'Clothing, Fashion and Fashion Accessories'. You will see every item listed under that general category. Use the sub categories to narrow the search, say 'Menswear', then 'Suits' etc..  You will be presented with a list of available suits listed on the site by retailers in Yate, (Burtons, Bewise etc).. Simply click to see the items you're interested in and add them to your cart if you wish (no transaction is taking place at this stage and you can remove items from your cart at any time).

3. Alternatively, you may want to search for an outfit through a particular retailer. Just select the store by searchiong 'Companies' and all the products shown will be from the one retailer.

SAR is essentially one great big department store!

4. When you have selected the goods you want proceed to 'Order Now'. You will be asked to complete the new customer form the first time you use the site, otherwise click 'returning customer' and remember your password.
