Welcoming Father Christmas back into his grotto, the Yate Shopping Centre’s Christmas Parade signals the start of a magical festive season. With a series of fantastic characters and of course, the jolly man himself, kids and familys will be delighted by the 2009 Christmas Parade.
Taking up his annual residence in the grotto, he will arrive in grand style as part of the spectacular parade which starts at 6.30pm and includes a Jack and the Beanstalk themed start to the parade with Jack, The Giant, Daisy the
Cow, all lead out by a team of white minature pantomime ponies. This will be followed by our christmas marching band, Bob The Builder and fifi, and just infront of the most important man himself Father Christmas, we have our Glow Fairy, Christmas Crackers, christmas puddings, christmas presents and of course our real reindeer pulling Father Christmas to wave to all the children sure to enchant the whole family and get them in the mood for Christmas 2009.
Giving the old man a treat for the winter season, we have created another festive grotto for Father Christmas to spend the run up to Christmas in. A fantastic treat for kids of all ages, tickets are still only £3 which includes a toy and is open every day until 4pm Christmas Eve.
